Class II Type A
Class II (laminar flow) biological safety cabinets are designed to minimize the hazards associated with working with agents handled under Biosafety Levels 1, 2, 3, or 4.
Biological Safety Cabinets (BSCs) are designed to protect personnel, products, and the surrounding environment. Our cabinets are designed in accordance with EN 12469 and NSF/ANSI 49 standards to provide reliable performance.
Class II biological safety cabinets, including Types A1, A2, B1, and B2, are partial barrier systems that rely on controlled airflow to provide personnel, environmental, and product protection. Personnel and product protection is achieved through the combination of inward airflow captured by the front grille and downward airflow within the cabinet.
